I was mesmerized by the beautiful orange-red sunset experience of the site. I believed that how you view sunset is how you view life. If you think sunsets are beautiful then you also perceive the life that you have as the same.  Some people think of sunsets as the end of the day. For some - it's just the beginning. Some think about it as old age or even death. In fact, it's color reflects fortune or misfortune. Red sunsets are thought to be signs of impending catastrophe or war. But no matter what color sunsets maybe, it reminds us that nothing in this world is permanent. A beautiful day must come to an end. A New Year art was a cool thing to feed the sentimental me. But I was wondering what would be the more appropriate subject. I want to combine Impressionism, Cubism, and Fauvism in one art. I realize it was New Year so I wanted to give tribute to Janus, the two-faced deity of the Roman mythology. From Janus was derived the month January. It was just fitting to paint about what was to be left behind and what will be embraced in the future. What was and what will be brought me a rational illustration of doors or portals.
